Care Assistants and Home Care Assistants - Summer Temporary Positions

We are looking for someone who is considerate, responsible, and wants to work in home care during the summer. With us, you will have meaningful work where you contribute to the safety, independence, and quality of life for our users – every day.

HemTrevnad was founded in 2006. Individuals who have been granted home care and safety alarms in Alingsås have the opportunity to choose HemTrevnad as the provider. We cover almost the entire Alingsås Municipality! HemTrevnad also performs services covered by the RUT tax deduction.

At HemTrevnad, we work in a person-centered way with a flexible and family-like approach.

We offer:

HemTrevnad's employees have influence over the planning of their day and can largely affect the scheduling of working hours. We work daytime and/or evening hours (not night).

We do not use minute-by-minute scheduling for daily plans. In your work, you have support from on-site managers and coordinators. You will receive several introduction days, including practical sessions and theoretical training.

HemTrevnad values a good work environment where everyone can feel comfortable and a sense of community. HemTrevnad has a collective agreement.

Job Duties

Your workday is planned based on approved interventions and the individual's implementation plan. Approved interventions can range from light activities such as walks to caring for individuals with various care needs, including hygiene, meal preparation, and personal care.

Most importantly, the individual should feel trust in you and receive the help and support they need at the right time, performed with high quality.

As an assistant, you work with care interventions/service interventions, and if you are a care assistant, you have the opportunity to receive delegation and administer medication.

Qualifications

You have a B driver's license or can cycle. You are proficient in the Swedish language in speech and writing. You must be able to work 4-8 weeks during the summer months of June/July/August.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and have the ability to perform your work with precision, attentiveness, and helpfulness. You are an important piece of the puzzle in our operations, and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

You need to have the ability to handle everyday issues with tact, sensitivity, and good judgment. You have the ability to build good relationships with users and their relatives, as well as with other professional groups you collaborate with.
