IES Linköping is seeking a new school nurse team starting August 2026 International English School has made a significant difference for our students for 30 years. As a school nurse, you work closely in the IES Student Health Team, as well as with leadership, teachers, mentors, and student support staff. We are now recruiting for the fall a completely new school nurse team for grades F-9 - which is split between two school nurses. The positions are full-time and include usual duties according to the guidelines of the National Board of Health and Welfare and the Swedish National Agency for Education, such as: - Health interviews and health checks - Open reception for students - Doctor's appointments - Vaccinations - Preventive and health-promoting work - Health information in e.g., lesson form/seminars for students You work closely with the school's other school nurse and collaborate with the principal and other professions in the student health team to support students' development towards educational goals. Collaboration with the municipality and other authorities, as well as contact with guardians, is a natural part of the work. Central student health's medical efforts at IES consist of MLA, coordinating school nurses, and resource nurses who work in close collaboration with school nurses at the schools. From central EMI, among other things, the introduction of new employees, network meetings, and ongoing training are offered, as well as close accessibility for support and questions. Qualifications: - Licensed nurse with specialist training in: child and youth, district nurse, or the school nurse program - Previous experience as a school nurse is meritorious We are looking for you who: - Have a genuine interest in children and young people's health and development - Are flexible, engaged, and proactive - Have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team - Are passionate about health-promoting and preventive work both in the classroom, the school, and outside Employment type: Permanent employment with a 6-month probationary period. Full-time (100%) daytime. Vacation entitlement. Other: Certificates of licensure and qualifying degree must be attached to the application.
