Description

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and want to work with us at the Jewish Home. The position is 100% or according to agreement if other arrangements are desired. There will be a total of six nurses distributed among 76 residents in the pleasant nursing team. The management consists of an operations manager, a unit manager for the somatic unit, a unit manager for the dementia unit, and an administrative manager.

You can work independently and can prioritize your work tasks. Communication, both oral and written, is an important part of your role, so we see that you have good communication skills and are fluent in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is a great advantage if you have leadership experience and/or some education such as organization and leadership or other, but it is not a requirement. We also wish that you have knowledge and preferably experience with dementia diseases. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and flexible, and have a genuine interest in people.

In your role as a nurse, typical nursing tasks that occur in a special housing facility are included, such as assessing residents' health, performing health and medical care measures, both acute and planned. Providing care at end-of-life care, record-keeping, risk assessments in the national quality registry Senior Alert, and registration in the Swedish Palliative Registry. Having contact with relatives and conducting care planning, contact with doctors, and supervision of staff. All efforts are performed with the resident in focus – We work person-centered and interprofessionally both within SoL and HSL. Knowledge and education in dementia diseases are a merit.

The home is run by a non-profit association, and we have a total of 76 apartments.
