School Nurse for Central Student Health Team - Work at Schools in Dalarna

Olympica is now seeking an engaged school nurse who wants to work in our central student health team with a clear focus on promoting and preventive student health work.

The position is distributed between our elementary schools in Hedemora grades F–6, Ludvika (Håksberg) grades F–6, and Leksand (Excel) grades F–9. You will be an important part of a comprehensive student health work where collaboration, quality, and the student's best interest are always in focus.

About the Assignment

As a school nurse with us, you primarily work in a promoting and preventive manner to strengthen students' health and create good conditions for learning. You contribute to developing health-promoting working methods and structures at the schools.

You are responsible for the medical interventions of student health and conduct health visits, vaccinations, and simpler healthcare interventions according to the basic program. You identify needs for support early and collaborate with other professions in the student health team.

You are part of a central student health team together with other professions where you collectively drive and develop the preventive student health work. The work occurs at organizational, group, and individual levels.

• are a licensed nurse with further education to become a school nurse or district nurse
• have experience working with children and youth
• have a strong interest in promoting and preventive work
• are confident in your professional role and have good collaboration skills
