School Nurse in Central Student Health Team - Work at Schools in Dalarna

Olympica is now seeking an engaged school nurse who wants to work in our central student health team with a clear focus on promoting and preventive student health work.

The position is divided between our primary schools in Hedemora grades F–6, Ludvika (Håksberg) grades F–6, and Leksand (Excel) grades F–9. You will become an important part of a cohesive student health effort where collaboration, quality, and the best interest of the student are always in focus.

About the Role

As a school nurse with us, you work primarily in a promoting and preventive manner to strengthen students' health and create good conditions for learning. You contribute to developing health-promoting approaches and structures in the schools.

You are responsible for the medical aspects of student health and conduct health visits, vaccinations, and basic healthcare interventions according to the core program. You identify early needs for support and collaborate with other professionals in the student health team.

You are part of a central student health team together with other professionals where you collectively drive and develop the preventive student health work. The work occurs at the organizational, group, and individual levels.

• are a licensed nurse with further education to become a school nurse or district nurse
• have experience working with children and youth
• have a strong interest in promoting and preventive work
• are confident in your professional role and have good collaboration skills
