Gotland Nursing Home is a senior care facility with a foundation in charity and love for people. The nursing home is located just south of Visby's ring wall within walking distance to Södercentrum. The nursing home has a sea view and a park-like garden.

As a care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care and nursing based on the elderly individual's needs. Tasks may include assistance with personal hygiene, daily nursing, meal service, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, and simple cleaning duties.

We prefer that you have experience in elderly care. It is meritorious if you are a trained assistant nurse, alternatively studying to become a nurse, social worker, or pursuing any other education in healthcare. It is important that you have an interest in working in elderly care.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability, and the personal qualities we seek are flexibility, attentiveness, and responsibility. We are looking for you who are a positive and cheerful person and who finds it easy to collaborate.

You work scheduled hours that include day, evening, and every other weekend, approximately 80%.

We need vacation substitutes between weeks 25-33, and we prioritize candidates who can work most of the period.

You need to be computer-savvy and must be able to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.
