Fish Farmer

Vattudalens Fisk AB has been engaged in the breeding of rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) for over 15 years. Alongside the breeding, we conduct close collaborations with, among others, Swedish research and industry development.

Vattudalens Fisk AB is seeking a Fish Farmer for Strömsund.

Do you want to work with sustainable food production in a beautiful mountain environment? Vattudalens Fisk AB is now seeking a fish farmer for our operations in Strömsund's Vattudal.

As a fish farmer, you will become part of an engaged team working with the entire chain – from fry to finished food fish. The tasks are varied and practical, focusing on fish health, water quality, and facility operation.

We are looking for you who:

• Have an interest in animals and nature
• Are responsible and enjoy practical work, both independently and in a team
• Have at least a Class B driver's license (required)
• Possessing forklift, crane, and wheel loader licenses is advantageous but not a requirement.
• Experience in fish farming or similar work is advantageous but not a requirement

Work tasks:

• Supervision, feeding, and care of fish
• Monitoring of water environment and facility function
• Assistance with sorting, delivery, and other cultivation tasks
• Maintenance and minor repairs
