About the role

As a Quality Technician, your job will be to ensure that our products meet both internal and external quality requirements. You work proactively to identify, analyze, and solve quality problems to optimize production processes and increase customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation process
• Perform quality control in relation to customers and suppliers
• Work with deviation management
• Participate in external audits and conduct internal audits

To succeed in the role, we believe you have:

• Several years of experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry.
• Technical education in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent, preferably at university level.
• Practical experience from our production processes is meritorious.
• Good knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001.
• Experience in using quality tools and methods such as 8D, 5WHY, FMEA, Ishikawa, and similar.
• Knowledge of reading drawings.
• Material knowledge.
• Knowledge in using measuring instruments is meritorious
• Experience working with business systems. Monitor G5 is meritorious.

Aston Harald Mekaniska Verkstad is a workshop company focusing on machining, qualified welding, assembly, and control of heavy and medium-heavy components and complete systems. We serve sectors such as Defense, Marine, Industrial Machines, and Aerospace.

Additional information:

The work is mainly carried out at our production unit in Kristinehamn. Business travel may occur.
