Product Manager to JELD-WEN in Åstorp

To our factory in Åstorp, we are now looking for a Product Manager who wants to take responsibility for quality and products for the Factory in Åstorp – in close collaboration with production, production engineering, Development, and other functions.

About the role

In the role of Product Manager, you are an important part of the factory in Åstorp. You are responsible for products and certifications and contribute to ensuring that our processes work in a structured and sustainable way.

You work both operationally and developmentally, together with colleagues from several parts of the business. The role provides room to influence how quality work is conducted and developed over time.

You belong to the technical department and report to the Technical Manager.

Your main responsibilities are to:

• Support the business in product quality issues and contribute to functioning instructions and routines so that products are produced correctly
• Be the contact person towards certification bodies
• Follow up on customer complaints and drive root cause and improvement measures
• Plan and conduct internal product quality audits
• Work preventively to reduce complaints, scrap, and rework

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in quality work and design within the manufacturing industry and who thrives in a role where you get to work in a structured manner, collaborate with others, and take responsibility for the whole.

You do not need to know everything from the start – more important is that you are curious, thorough, and comfortable in taking dialogue.

We believe that you:

• Have experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry
• Have good technical understanding and can interpret drawings and requirements
• Have worked with quality management systems, preferably ISO 9001:2015
• Are structured, analytical, and enjoy creating order and improvement
• Communicate in a clear and respectful way and enjoy collaborating with others

We see that you have:

• A college or master's degree in engineering, or equivalent experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing
• Be accustomed to working with CAD and independently driving technical issues towards other departments and the group.
• An open personality with focus on details and collaboration with others
• If you have experience in the wood products industry, this is advantageous but not a requirement.
