Barjaco Group AB is a growing group with operations in the restaurant and service industry. We manage several units and actively work on expansion, profitability development, and concept refinement.
We are now seeking an Operational Manager with overall responsibility for the group's restaurant operations, a business-driven leader.
About the Role
This is a senior and business-critical role with overarching responsibility for operations, finance, and development within the group's restaurant operations.
You have the ultimate operational responsibility and work both strategically and hands-on. The role involves leading the business towards set goals, ensuring profitability, and driving development and expansion.
You report to the board/owners and have the mandate to make decisions regarding operations, organization, and development.
Areas of Responsibility
Business Responsibility
- Overall results and budget responsibility
- Ensuring profitability and growth
- Driving strategic planning and development
- Identifying new business opportunities and expansion
Operational Leadership
- Leading and developing restaurant managers and key personnel
- Ensuring structure, routines, and quality levels
- Creating a strong corporate culture and clear leadership
- Responsibility for staffing, recruitment, and organizational development
Operations & Quality
- Ensuring that units deliver high service and guest experience
- Monitoring key performance indicators and implementing improvement measures
- Responsibility for regulatory requirements, food safety, and work environment
Expansion & Development
- Participating in the establishment of new units
- Driving improvement projects and efficiency measures
- Working closely with project management during renovations and new establishments
We are looking for you who
- Have documented experience from a leading role with full results responsibility
- Have worked as, for example, CEO, business area manager, operations manager, or district manager in the restaurant, retail, or service industry
- Have strong financial understanding and experience working towards clear goals
- Are a confident, clear, and decisive leader
- Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace
- Have a Class B driver's license and the ability to travel between units
You are business-driven, analytical, and structured but also operational enough to step into the business when needed.
