Interim Team Leader in Accounts Payable

We at Vindex are now seeking for our client a Team Leader in Accounts Payable for an interim assignment of approximately 12 months. This assignment is suitable for you who have solid experience and deep understanding of AP processes and thrive in an operational role where you get to combine your own work in accounts payable with a coordinating and supportive responsibility for the team.

Here you will have a central role within the finance function with responsibility for ensuring efficient flows, high quality, and stable and well-functioning operational delivery within accounts payable.

About the Role

In the role of team leader for accounts payable, you have overall responsibility for the daily work within the AP function. You lead and coordinate the team's work in accounts payable as well as other tasks within finance, and ensure efficient processes with high quality in accordance with applicable regulations.

The role is largely operational and you are actively involved in the ongoing work, while also having a coordinating responsibility for the team's delivery. Furthermore, you drive improvement, digitalization, and automation initiatives with the aim of developing and streamlining work methods and routines within the function.

Location: Stockholm, with some possibility for hybrid work

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily work within accounts payable
• Manage and quality-assure invoice flows, posting, and payments
• Support and coach colleagues in the operational work
• Ensure that processes and routines within AP are followed and developed
• Perform reconciliations related to accounts payable
• Be a point of contact for internal questions related to supplier flows
• Participate in improvement work and streamlining of AP processes
• Contribute operationally in the daily work in accounts payable

Qualifications

• Several years of experience and deep understanding within AP processes
• Good knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
• Documented experience of operational leadership
• Experience with ERP systems and good system proficiency
• Ability to work in a structured manner in larger and complex organizations
• Experience with Unit 4 and Medius (requirement)
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Very good communication skills in Swedish
• Proficient in English, in speech and writing
