About the Position

As an assistant lawyer with us, you will be central in our client teams. You work closely together with partners and the team in ongoing assignments and are involved from start to finish: from understanding the client's business and goals to analyzing, structuring, and developing concrete legal solutions.

We use tools to eliminate unnecessary routine work and focus on qualified legal analysis, risk assessment, and strategic advice. You get early responsibility for qualified legal work – including reviewing AI-generated material – and are expected to gradually develop your legal judgment and take responsibility for quality in your work.

Your Main Areas of Responsibility:

• Business Legal Advice: Preparing and contributing to legal investigations and analyzing legal issues within IT law, data protection (GDPR), copyright/licensing, and commercial contracts.
• Quality Assurance & Business-Oriented Legal Advice: Reviewing and developing legal deliverables where you ensure high legal quality in a world of AI-generated content and rapidly moving technology.
• Client Contact & Negotiation: Supporting the Partner in contract negotiations and participating in client dialogue together with senior lawyers and relevant contact persons at our clients.
• Compliance at the Forefront: Contributing to the development of "best practice" for AI governance and Privacy in collaboration with international networks such as IAPP.
• Business Development: Contributing to the firm's growth by developing our knowledge base and business development.

Who Are You?

We are looking for you who combine a strong legal toolkit with a genuine interest in how technology is changing the business world. You are ambitious, curious, take initiative, and want to develop in working with complex legal issues.

We Are Looking for You Who Have:

• A Swedish law degree with very good academic merits.
• 0–2 years of experience from a business law firm, corporate legal department, or authority (e.g., IMY, PTS).
• A pronounced interest in IT law, the tech sector, and compliance.
• The ability to work structured and contribute to deliveries with high quality.
• Very good language skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written).
• Are comfortable working independently and involving others at the right times.

It Is Meritorious If You:

• Have experience or a strong interest in AI tools and LegalTech.
• Have a background in economics or technology that gives you a deeper understanding of clients' business logic.

Above all, you are curious and used to figuring out what you don't know on your own. You read up, experiment, and provide early feedback with hypotheses, questions, and suggestions for next steps.

Employment Conditions
