Business Analyst / Business Controller with strong data and analytics profile

Here you will have a key role in creating structure, insights, and decision-making material that clearly connects data to business and finance, in close collaboration with the company's management.

About the role

In this role, you work closely with the company's management and key functions to define, monitor, and further develop the company's central key performance indicators and success metrics. As the company is in a strong growth phase, there is a great need to build analytics tools and structures for how data is used and translated into business decisions.

The role combines classic business controlling with deeper business analysis where you are expected to work independently with data and translate analyses into concrete recommendations for the operations.

Location: Stockholm

Main responsibilities

• Building dashboards, analytics tools, and structures for business and financial monitoring
• Defining and monitoring KPIs and success metrics within business and finance
• Ensuring data quality, structure, and accessibility
• Preparing monthly management reports including budget monitoring and forecasts
• Analyzing revenue growth, cash flow, and profitability
• Supporting management and operations with analyses and decision-making material
• Collaborating with various parts of the organization to identify improvement areas and monitor initiatives
• Developing scenario models that enable analysis of how different business decisions and new initiatives impact growth, revenues, and costs

Qualifications

• Academic degree in economics, finance, or similar relevant field
• Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Business Controller, or similar role in SaaS or tech environment
• Very good experience working with data analysis and dashboards
• Experience building analytics and KPI structures from the ground up
• Good understanding of business logic, growth, and unit economics with a focus on data-driven business models and profitability
• Very good skills in Excel and familiarity with BI tools
• Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing
