Corporate Responsible Accounting Economist responsible for multiple companies and flows

At Vindex, we are now seeking a senior and self-sufficient Corporate Responsible Accounting Economist for our client in Örebro. Here, you will have a key role in an operation where the finance function plays a central role, and you work closely with both operations and decision-makers. This assignment is suitable for someone who thrives in a transaction-intensive environment with large data flows and where structure, accuracy, and improvement work are a natural part of daily life.

About the role

In the role of Corporate Responsible Accounting Economist, you have overall responsibility for the accounting in several companies within the group. You work independently throughout the entire accounting chain and ensure high quality in both ongoing accounting and in financial statement work and external reporting. The role is broad and requires both operational ability and a good understanding of the whole in a complex financial environment.

You work in an organization in constant development, where efficiency and improvement of processes are an ongoing focus.

Location: Örebro with a hybrid solution of 3 days in the office

Main responsibilities

• Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Prepare annual reports and income declarations
• Ongoing accounting, fixed asset accounting
• Management of taxes, VAT, and other authority reporting
• Analysis of costs and results
• Structure and manage large data sets in complex flows
• Develop and maintain routines and process descriptions
• Contacts with internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

• Academic degree in economics
• At least 3–5 years of experience in qualified accounting work
• Documented experience of independent financial statement and annual report work
• Good knowledge of K3 and/or IFRS
• Good understanding of tax legislation
• Very good system proficiency and advanced skills in Excel
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Meritorious with experience from a larger group environment
