Senior Accounting Economist to Hedda

About the role

As a Senior Accounting Economist with us at Hedda, you have the overall responsibility for our finance function. You work both strategically and operationally to ensure high quality in our financial reporting.

A central part of the position is ongoing bookkeeping, invoicing, and re-invoicing. Your task will be to support, prioritize, and quality-assure the work in the team. We currently have one employee in accounting on site in the organization.

Your main job duties:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts.
• Responsibility for monthly reporting and analysis.
• Handling of supplier invoices and invoicing.
• Ensuring correct handling of VAT (our business is largely VAT-exempt, but some VAT-liable sales occur).
• Invoicing, Re-invoicing

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are independent, meticulous, and pedagogical in your leadership. You have a good ability to structure processes and ensure that deadlines are met with high precision.

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in qualified accounting work.
• Experience in independently preparing accounts and financial reports.
• Good understanding of VAT rules, preferably in businesses with mixed turnover.
• Previous experience in personnel responsibility or supervisory work is strongly meritorious.

It is a big plus if you have:

• Experience working in Fortnox.
• Background from the healthcare sector or similar operations, which gives you a faster start with us.
