Midwife for Maternity Ward

We are seeking an experienced midwife for a maternity ward at a large hospital in Sweden.

The operation has an established working method with clear routines and an experienced team, where the focus is on safe and secure care throughout the childbirth process.

Job Duties

As a midwife in the maternity ward, you are responsible for:

• Independent handling of normal deliveries
• Monitoring of mother and child during childbirth
• Identification and initial handling of deviations
• Support and guidance for the birthing person and relatives
• Collaboration with doctors, assistant nurses, and other team members
• Documentation according to current guidelines

Work Environment

You work in a team with experienced colleagues where:

Introduction is provided based on your experience to ensure a secure start.

Scope and Arrangement
