Midwife for Maternity Ward

We are looking for an experienced midwife for a maternity ward at a large hospital in Sweden.

The operation has an established working method with clear routines and an experienced team, where the focus is on safe and secure care throughout the childbirth process.

The position suits you who want to work in a stable environment with good structure and the opportunity for continuity in work.

Job Duties

As a midwife at the maternity ward, you are responsible for:

• Independent management of normal deliveries
• Monitoring of mother and child during childbirth
• Identification and initial management of deviations
• Support and guidance to the birthing person and relatives
• Collaboration with doctors, assistant nurses, and other team members
• Documentation according to current guidelines

Work Environment

You work in a team with experienced colleagues where:

Introduction is provided based on your experience to ensure a secure start.

Scope and Arrangement

Qualifications

• Licensed midwife
