About the Operation

Villa Arelid is a short-term residence with 18 places for guests aged 40 and above. We are located about 15 minutes outside Alingsås, beautifully situated by Lake Anten. Our facility is primarily used by people with physical or mental disabilities, stroke, impaired general condition, or social disabilities. With us, the guest is at the center and is offered the best possible conditions to live a good life, develop, and strengthen as a person together with other people based on their own circumstances.

We work with Green Rehab twice a week, where we utilize the positive and beneficial influence of nature and gardens on people. This happens by being present and attentive in and around nature or the garden at Villa Arelid, either together or individually. Examples of activities based on Green rehab include nature walks, listening to birds, sowing tomato seeds, and drinking our own tea in a creative and harmonious environment. We strive to create as creative and homelike an environment as possible both indoors and outdoors.

The surroundings are characterized by nature, and we have, among other things, a rehab garden where there is an opportunity to be involved in cultivation, planting, and rest/relaxation, as part of the stay.

As a person, we prefer that you are flexible, proactive, attentive, and take own responsibility.

Preferably strong and enjoy moving as the work is physically demanding and involves some heavy lifting

You work with usual tasks as an assistant nurse. We work with a contact person system, which means you have greater responsibility for the guest you are assigned. You accompany them to doctor visits and go along on activities, etc. The care work includes cleaning, laundry, hygiene, and conversations.

We are now looking for a licensed assistant nurse for our operation at Villa Arelid with permanent employment, work day/evening and every other weekend
