W.A. Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major. First movement with cadenza

or

W.A. Mozart Violin Concerto No. 4 in D major. First movement with cadenza

or

W.A. Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 in A major. First movement with cadenza

and one of the following concertos:

Johannes Brahms - Violin Concerto in D major. First movement with cadenza

Ludwig van Beethoven - Violin Concerto in D major. First movement with cadenza

Felix Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto in E minor. First movement with cadenza

Jean Sibelius - Violin Concerto in D minor. First movement with cadenza

Pyotr Tchaikovsky - Violin Concerto in D major. First movement with cadenza

About Wermland Opera

We offer varied work as a musician in the Wermland Opera Orchestra, which with its 34 full-time members presents both orchestral concerts and opera and musical productions. The orchestra presents its own concert series in Karlstad CCC's concert hall (approximately 7-8 concerts per season). The main concert series 2026/2027 offers a diverse program with distinguished guest conductors and soloists. The musicians of the Wermland Opera Orchestra also frequently perform in various chamber music formations, and the orchestra demonstrates great versatility as they easily move between different genres. Wermland Opera is now located in our new premises at "Bageriet". On the ground floor are the Orchestra Hall and the Studio, which function as both rehearsal spaces and public stages, as well as a kitchen and restaurant. The rest of the building houses many more rehearsal rooms, production workshops, a music library, and administration. The production workshops include a costume atelier, painting, props and accessories workshop, carpentry workshop, forge, lighting workshop, and mask and wig workshop.
