Do you want to combine the joy of music with work among children and youth? In this position, you will have the opportunity to lead children's choirs and be an important part of the work with confirmands, together with an engaged team.

The position is 50% and your base is at Kyrkans gård-Lockörn. Applications are processed continuously.

The children's choirs rehearse weekly at Otterstad parish hall and regularly participate in family evenings and worship services.

The confirmand activities include evening meetings as well as certain outings and camps. During the sports holiday, the confirmands travel to Idre and you are a natural part of this trip. The extra work is compensated with more time off during the summer period. The work involves varied tasks and close collaboration in the team – tasks that are not solely directly music-related, but where your competence and engagement are important parts.

Qualifications and Characteristics

• Relevant music education or experience
• Experience working with children and youth
• Desire to spread the faith and teachings of the Church of Sweden
• Class B driver's license required

About the Workplace

Sunnersberg parish is located in Lidköping municipality and the geographical area includes both rural and urban areas. The parish offers a variety of activities and meeting places for all ages and also operates a preschool. About thirty people are employed in the parish.
