Automation Engineer ABB 800xA | Uppsala

Are you an experienced automation engineer with ABB 800xA who wants to work close to production in technically advanced projects within Life Science?

I am currently building an automation team in Uppsala and am looking for you who want to take a key role in the design, verification, and commissioning of DCS systems at some of the region's most technology-intensive operations.

About the role

You will work closely with production and project organizations and contribute throughout the chain from design to commissioning of ABB 800xA in regulatory environments.

The work includes, among other things:

• Design and implementation in ABB 800xA
• 
  
• Review of functional specifications (FS) and recipe structure
• 
  
• Participation in FAT, SAT, and verification
• 
  
• Ensuring that critical production functions are implemented correctly during technology transfer
• 
  
• Support to production and projects for changes and improvements

We believe you have

• Several years of experience in automation in the process or pharmaceutical industry
• 
  
• At least 3 years of practical experience with ABB 800xA
• 
  
• Experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, or system design
• 
  
• Good understanding of recipe structure and system architecture
• 
  
• Fluent Swedish and English
