Composite Materials Engineer

We are now seeking a composite materials engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client in advanced technology development. You will become part of a Materials & Process team working on the introduction of new materials, development of material systems and associated processes, and contributing to continued technology development in high-tech products.

The assignment offers a central role where you will work closely with both product development and suppliers, with a strong focus on manufacturing processes in the composite field.

About the Assignment

As a composite materials engineer, you will work broadly in the area of advanced composites, focusing on manufacturing and process development. You will be part of a specialist group that supports multiple product areas and drives development forward in composite technology.

Your main tasks include:

Working with manufacturing processes and quality issues in close collaboration with suppliers

Participating in and supporting product development throughout the entire chain – from concept and system design to verification and delivery

Contributing to and conducting testing campaigns

Developing material and process specifications

Contributing to and driving technology development in the field

The work may involve travel and certain parts being performed at subcontractors.

Requirements

3 years of experience working with composite manufacturing

Higher education in fiber composites or equivalent relevant field

Good knowledge in composite manufacturing

Very good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Swedish citizenship (required for security clearance)

Meritorious

Experience from the aerospace industry

Practical experience with material testing

Experience with product development in industry
