Description

Stabbarpsgården is now seeking a treatment educator for permanent employment in our residential care facility

We are looking for you who want to work in a professional and small-scale operation where relationships, structure, and well-considered treatment content are central – and where you as an employee are expected to actively contribute to implementing this in daily work.

This position suits you who want to work closely with young people in their daily lives while being part of a context where the work is characterized by reflection, clear direction, and shared responsibility.

About Stabbarpsgården

Stabbarpsgården is an established operation with over 25 years of experience working with young people in need of support. We operate both residential care facilities and supported housing for young people aged 14–20 with psychosocial issues.

Our ambition is to create a safe, structured, and as normalized daily life as possible for the young people. The daily environment is home-like and predictable, while the work is based on a clear professional approach.

The operation works according to a quality management system based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations (SOSFS 2011:9).

The staff group consists of treatment educators, behavioral scientists, and social workers who work closely together in daily work, with regular reflection and shared responsibility for the quality of the work.

In the treatment work, we base our approach on, among other things:

• trauma-informed care

• low-arousal approach

• demand adaptation and clear structure

• methods for impulse control and self-regulation, e.g., RePulse

Stabbarpsgården has a total of 19 places distributed across three units and is located in and around Eslöv with good commuting options from Lund and Malmö.

About the Role

As a treatment educator with us, you have a professional responsibility to implement Stabbarpsgården's treatment model in practical daily work.

The role involves being part of upholding the operation's shared structure, approach, and treatment orientation. The work is not based on individual solutions in the moment but within the framework of jointly made decisions that are consistently followed in daily life.

The work includes:

• conducting treatment work according to implementation plans and decided interventions

• contributing to ensuring that relationship, structure, and demand adaptation permeate daily life

• working long-term and non-reactively in interactions with the young people

• actively participating in treatment conferences, supervision, and follow-up

• documenting and following up interventions according to the operation's guidelines

• contributing to a safe, predictable, and home-like environment

You are expected to contribute with observations and reflections, but larger treatment decisions are made jointly and followed consistently in the organization.

We are looking for you who

• have a post-secondary education of at least two years with a focus on social work, for example, social educator, social worker, behavioral scientist, or similar – or equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent

• have experience working with young people, preferably within residential care facilities, supported housing, or similar operations

and who:

• are secure, stable, and have good judgment

• have the ability to create and maintain professional relationships

• can work structured and contribute to a predictable daily life

• enjoy working in a team and following a common line

• are open to reflection, supervision, and continuous development

• can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing

We place great importance on personal suitability.

What We Offer

With us, you get to work in an operation where:

• you work closely with the young people and make a concrete difference in their daily lives

• there is a clear structure and direction in the treatment work

• the staff group is stable and collaborative

• the work is characterized by reflection, supervision, and shared responsibility

• there are good opportunities to develop within social work
