Personal Assistant for a Girl in Höganäs

This is Me

I am a happy and curious 19-year-old girl with an intellectual disability and autism. I live in a house with my parents but have my own apartment within the house. I plan to move to a completely independent apartment in the near future, which means that you as an assistant will be an important part of my increased independence.

I attend school and will graduate this summer. After that, I will start at a daily activity center. I do not speak but make myself understood through clear body language and widget images on my iPad.

I need help with all daily life management, such as personal care, meals (tube feeding), activities, and structure in daily life.

My interests include going to Väla, baking, walking in the forest and by the sea, and cycling.

There is a dog in the household, so you who apply must not be allergic.

Who Do I Want by My Side?

I am looking for you who can and want to take responsibility and who, through collaboration and care, gives me the support I need in my daily life. You have good communication skills in spoken Swedish and can learn to understand and interpret me correctly. It is important that you are calm, attentive, secure, and can support me in my communication. I prefer female applicants.

About the Position

Previous experience in personal assistance or work within the autism spectrum is advantageous. However, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. The workplace is located in Höganäs municipality.

Now seeking you who wants to work on an hourly basis, who can sometimes step in at short notice and cover for the absence of regular staff. The work shifts are scheduled on weekdays and weekends; daytime, evening, and night, including waiting time.
