About the job

Consolida Ajacis was acquired by the Indomi Group in 2022. We provide support and treatment (with the help of external actors) in two facilities in Laxå municipality (Laxå & Hasselfors) and offer housing, enhanced support for individuals with substance abuse issues or other addictive behaviors, criminality, and mental health problems.

Our concept is based on a structured daily life with daily routines, focus on occupation, activities, and mental health - All for a reasonable standard of living.

Qualifications

As a person, you are structured, have a very good ability to collaborate, are relationship-building, and have a good ability to meet other people in need of support. We also want you to contribute with engagement and participation.

You are computer-literate and have knowledge of Swedish with a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. You have experience working with the target group. It is advantageous if you have personal experience of treatment.

Requirements:

- At least three years of work experience regarding addiction and psychiatry

- Able to work on schedule from week 22 to week 34

- You have not been convicted or had probation in the last five years

Job Duties

As a housing support worker, you perform both social and practical support interventions to strengthen and support individuals in their ability to manage daily life, both within and outside the home. The primary purpose is to support people with varying issues to as far as possible meet and handle daily life in different situations themselves.

The aim is to contribute to a recovery process that in the long run can make housing support unnecessary. It can involve providing support and guidance in performing various household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as supporting with finances and contact with other authorities, but also about expanding daily life outside the home by supporting contacts for social interaction. The housing support should be designed considering the individual's changing needs based on an implementation plan. The implementation plan is established in consultation with the individual and is based on the interventions the individual has been granted in their decision on housing support.

Ability to handle documentation is a must. You collaborate with colleagues, establish and follow up on implementation plans, have contact with relatives, guardians/trustees, and participate in care planning and other meetings.
