Personal Assistant Wanted in Örebro!

We are now seeking an engaged and responsible personal assistant for a woman in her 50s with ALS. She lives in Örebro. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in her life and get the chance to help a person live life on the same terms as others, as far as possible. The position involves becoming an important part of her daily life and contributing to security, development, and quality of life.

The work includes everything from nursing, intimate hygiene, transfers, use of various aids (including a cough machine), motor training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in her home and wherever she is. Working hours are scheduled during both day and evening hours, weekdays, and every other weekend. Mostly double staffing. We would also like you to be able to work on short notice when needed, due to illness, etc.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is therefore important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice when needed, due to illness, etc. We also see that you are available during the summer and vacation periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you applying for the position have a flexible and independent working approach and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and a professional attitude. You applying have a genuine interest and sense of care for people.

Other qualities in you that are good in the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and that you are responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great merit if you have experience working in personal assistance.
