Personal Assistant Wanted in Västerås!

We are now seeking a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a woman in her 70s with MS. She lives in Västerås. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in her life and have the opportunity to help a person live a life on equal terms with others, as far as possible. The position involves becoming an important part of her daily life and contributing to security, development, and quality of life.

The work includes everything from care, intimate hygiene, transfers, use of various aids, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in her home and wherever she is. The working hours are scheduled during both day and evening times, weekdays as well as weekends. We prefer that you can also work at short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work at short notice when needed, due to illness or similar. We also see that you are available during the summer and holiday periods.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you who apply for the position have a flexible and independent way of working and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and a professional approach. Other qualities that are good in the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and that you are responsible. You must be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a great advantage if you have experience working in personal assistance.
