We are now looking for a dedicated and attentive personal assistant for a wheelchair-bound man with both physical and cognitive disabilities. The work involves supporting him in daily life, assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene such as showering and diaper changing, dressing and undressing, cleaning, and during transfers between bed and wheelchair. An important part of the assignment also involves participating in leisure activities and social contexts.

Our client enjoys when things happen and needs a lot of stimulation and activation. Therefore, we are looking for you who are creative, positive, and enjoy coming up with fun activities in everyday life. It is of great importance that you are attentive, patient, and confident in your role, and that you have experience working with individuals who exhibit challenging behaviors. You need to be able to work in a low-arousal manner, create calm in challenging situations, and have the ability to find solutions when needed.

We prefer that you are a person who takes own initiatives, is responsible, and enjoys working both independently and in a team. During daytime, you work together with colleagues and supervisors, while during night shifts you work independently.

Working hours vary between day, evening, and night. The position is part-time approximately 75%.
