Treatment Therapist/Treatment Educator temporary position 75-100% (June 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026)
Fenix Care is a well-established treatment home for men with addiction issues, often combined with criminality and mental health problems. We work with the 12-step program as a treatment theoretical foundation and have a psychologist, psychiatrist, and nurse connected to the operation.
We are now seeking a treatment therapist for a temporary position of 75-100% from June 1, 2025 to January 31, 2026.
About the Position
The position involves close and varied work with our clients where you are an important part of the treatment team. Working hours are primarily scheduled during day and evening shifts. Weekend work and on-call duty may occur. During evenings and weekends, solo work may occur, which requires independence and confidence in the professional role.
Your Work Tasks
- In the role as a treatment therapist, you will:
- Conduct, plan, and structure lectures
- Lead reporting and group activities
- Be a contact person and provide individual counseling support
- Work with social client work and daily motivation efforts
- Be responsible for documentation according to current guidelines
- Perform sample collection and medication management according to delegation
- Conduct morning and evening meetings
- Perform practical tasks such as cleaning and some cooking
- Be responsible for driving and transportation
- Work with supervision and social control
Most of the role consists of conducting treatment and being a stable and present contact person for our clients.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
- Are educated as a treatment educator or have equivalent education
- Have experience in addiction care or work with the target group
- Have good documentation skills
- Are structured, responsible, and have good initiative-taking ability
- Are confident in yourself and can work independently
- Have a B driver's license for manual transmission
Knowledge and experience of the 12-step program is meritorious.
Education in 12-step or further education in the addiction field is meritorious.
If you have personal experience with addiction, at least three (3) years of documented sobriety/drug-free status is required.
An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment.
