We are seeking a female assistant who wants to work as a summer substitute and hourly substitute. In the fall, we can offer some fixed shifts per week and additional hours as needed. We can offer daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

The Assignment

The client is a very warm and cheerful young woman of 34 years. She communicates through picture support, body language, signs as support, and some verbal words.

Music, swimming, disco, reading books, and horseback riding are just a few of the many things she enjoys doing.

She has assistance 24/7 with awake nights.

Who are you?

We prefer that you have had at least one or two previous jobs with good references. You should see this work as long-term since everyone involved benefits most from continuity.

For communication purposes, you must be fully proficient in the Swedish language. You have good skills in expressing yourself verbally and in writing, computer literacy, and experience with documentation.

You must be able to swim since she swims and bathes several times a week. If you have experience with alternative communication, AAC, or signs as support, it is very meritorious but not a requirement.

We expect you to be non-smoking since we cannot allow smoking during work hours.
