Assistant for 13-year-old boy in Partille

We are now looking for a person with experience in autism as a personal assistant for a 13-year-old boy in Partille.

The client is an active boy who enjoys many outings outside the home, such as going to Liseberg, visiting swimming pools, and being out in the woods and nature, but who also likes to stay at home and relax with his tablet.

As a person, you need to be calm and methodical with good patience and strong empathy.

You need to be able to work with visual aids and sign language as support, and have a low-arousal approach.

The languages used in the home are Swedish and Spanish, so a requirement is that you are fluent in one of them, but it is not required to be fluent in both.

Personal chemistry is crucial.

A driver's license and technical skills are advantageous but not required.

Working hours will primarily be on weekdays, where the day starts with you meeting the client at the end of the school day at 13:00 and working the rest of the afternoon or evening, or you are with the client in the morning and forenoon while the parents are at work if he does not need to be in school that day.

Working hours and schedule can be largely tailored to the assistant's availability.

If desired, some work shifts with longer outings and activities can also be scheduled on weekends.
