Funeral Advisor and Representative Wanted

About the Position

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible employee for the role of funeral advisor and representative. The position is full-time and involves varied work where you meet people during life's most sensitive moments.

As a funeral advisor, you are responsible for advising and planning funerals in close contact with relatives. You administer and coordinate the entire assignment with great precision and high service orientation.

In the role as representative, you are responsible for dignified handling of the deceased, including pickup and casketing. You also participate in funerals and handle practical tasks before, during, and after the ceremony.

Job Duties

In this role, you work both administratively and practically throughout the funeral process:

• Advising and planning together with relatives
• Administration and coordination of funerals
• Orders and contact with suppliers
• Shrouding and casketing
• Pickup and transport of the deceased
• Carrying in and out in churches and chapels
• Representation at ceremonies
• Other tasks within the business

The work may involve on-call duty and is partially physically demanding.

Qualifications (Requirements)

• Driver's license class B
• Access to own car
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Basic computer skills (Office)
• Good physical ability

Meritorious

• Experience from the funeral industry
• Experience in service professions or customer contact

Nilsson's Funeral Home has its main office in Eslöv and is also located in Höör, Kävlinge, and Röstånga. We are a smaller team that works closely together and values respect, care, and personal treatment.
