Personal Assistant Sought in Färjestaden

We are looking for someone interested in working as a personal assistant for a man in his 30s with an acquired brain injury. He lives with his family in Färjestaden. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in his life and have the chance to help a person live a life on equal terms with others, as far as possible.

The work includes everything from care, training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home, work, and wherever he is located. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights, Monday to Sunday. You work shifts with some on-call duty at night. We prefer that you can also work on short notice if needed, due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice if needed, due to illness or similar.

You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good skills in documentation and a professional approach. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a significant advantage if you have experience working in personal assistance.
