Personal Assistant Wanted in Färjestaden

We are looking for you who are interested in working as a personal assistant to a man in his 30s with an acquired brain injury. He lives with his family in Färjestaden. In the role of assistant, you will make a difference in his life and have the chance to help a person live a life on the same terms as others, as far as possible.

The work includes everything from care, training, assistance with activities, etc. The workplace is in his home, at work, and wherever he is. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evening, and night, Monday through Sunday. You work shifts with some on-call duties at night. We prefer that you can also work on short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

Since you will be part of a team of personal assistants selected by and for your specific user, it is important to have good work ethics where everyone supports each other and can work on short notice when needed, due to illness or similar.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We prefer that you applying for the position have a flexible and independent working approach and can easily adapt to new situations. You must be able to take responsibility as you work based on the individual's needs. You should have good competence in documentation and a professional attitude. You applying should have a genuine interest and sense of care for people.

Other qualities that are beneficial in the job are a good mood, calmness, patience, and that you are responsible. You should be able to speak fluent Swedish as this is a job where good communication is very important. It is a significant advantage if you have experience working in personal assistance.
