Oland's Development Center is a small private healthcare company that operates a high-quality HVB home for girls, with 7 places, aged 15-20 who have social problems related to mental illness and/or NPF. The facility is located in Alunda, 3.6 miles east of Uppsala with good public transport connections to Uppsala. We have a holistic view of humanity and work according to CBT, MI, Structured Teaching, where predictability, manageability, and comprehensibility are the foundational pillars. You are well familiar with low-arousal approaches, trauma-informed care, and ADL. We place great importance on collaboration with family, child and adolescent psychiatry, habilitation, Lss, school, etc. CBT step 1 is meritorious.

Work areas/tasks: When you work as a therapist at Oland's Development Center, you become the "spider in the web" for "your" youth. Your tasks include, among others, creating an implementation plan, planning the treatment and making a treatment plan, conducting individual sessions with the youth and documentation. Further, it involves structuring and participating in behavior training, taking part in treatment conferences, and usual "unit work" is included in the tasks. You maintain continuous contact with parents, school/practical training placement and social services together with the responsible work leader. Some on-call duty is included in the tasks.

Regular internal and external supervision and ongoing further education are provided.

We see that you have knowledge, interest, and experience in working with youth who have social difficulties (experience in the area of mental illness is meritorious), preferably within HVB homes. It is important to be orderly, humble, attentive, responsible, and able to work in a group and individually (able to take own responsibility) and have a pedagogical approach. You have documented experience of working with youth who have social difficulties, preferably "institutionally experienced". Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
