Substitute/summer substitutes wanted

Oland's Development Center is a small private company operating a residential care home for girls, 7 places, aged 15-20 years with social problems related to mental health issues with or without neurodevelopmental disorders. The facility is located in Alunda, 3.6 miles east of Uppsala with good public transport connections to Uppsala. We have a holistic view of humanity and work according to CBT, MI with clarifying pedagogy, where predictability, manageability, and comprehensibility are the foundational pillars. We place great importance on family/network work.

Work areas/tasks:

You will be part of the daily work with the youth, supporting them to follow their daily schedule, care work, accompanying them on doctor visits, and participating in treatment work. This includes documenting, having conversations, behavior training, and everything involved in taking care of a home.

We prefer that you have knowledge, interest, and experience in working with youth in the area of mental health. It is important to be organized, humble, attentive, responsible, and able to work in a group and individually (able to take own responsibility) as well as have a pedagogical approach. Due to the nature of the work, we prefer that you have documented experience working with youth, preferably "institution-experienced". Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
