About Mosås group housing

The operation is licensed to provide housing with special services in the form of group housing according to 9§ 9p LSS and targets person group 1. The operation is conducted in a newly built property and consists of six full-value apartments with high standards. The group housing is located on the outskirts of Örebro (Mosås), but with proximity to the city center and direct access to, for example, public transport, grocery stores, and employment, yet still with nature around the corner.

Working as a housing support worker with us

As a housing support worker, you work to support, motivate, and develop the individual's ability to carry out various activities in daily life. Your task is to create structure, predictability, and routines in the individual's daily life through individually tailored support. Our goal is to use adapted methods, work approaches, and treatment to create conditions for increased quality of life and good living conditions for the individuals who get the opportunity to make a home in our operation. We want each individual to feel participation and influence in their life situation and experience an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

As a housing support worker, you offer support and service in all parts of life where there is a need, and tasks may include, for example:

· Daily chores such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and shopping

· Leisure activities, employment, and outings

· Personal care and hygiene

· Social interaction and communication

· Social documentation and creation of implementation plans

· Collaboration with relatives, representatives, authorities, and healthcare

· Supporting and motivating the individual based on needs and ability to increase independence in their daily life

Who are we looking for?

We are now seeking a few new employees to work with us during the summer. Working hours are scheduled based on clients' needs and include both weekdays and weekends, and may vary between day, evening, and night.

We are looking for you with a big heart for the target group and a strong desire to make a difference for each individual. You enjoy working with people, have a good ability to adapt your treatment based on the needs you encounter, and find it easy to collaborate with your surroundings. You are as a person attentive, flexible, solution-focused, and have a sense of service. You should be confident in facing situations that may be stressful and challenging. You see opportunities in changes, take your own initiatives, and take your responsibility as part of the team to achieve development and desired results.

Qualifications:

We require good knowledge of the Swedish language, in both speech and writing.

Class B driver's license

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious:

Education in care and nursing. Also ongoing studies in care and nursing. For example, assistant nurse, social pedagogue, support pedagogue, treatment pedagogue.

Previous experience working with the target group in LSS operations or other similar operations.
