Fenix Omsorg is a well-established treatment home for men with addiction problems, often combined with criminality and mental illness. We work with the 12-step program as a treatment theoretical foundation and have additional competencies such as psychologists, psychiatrists, and nurses.

We are now looking for summer substitutes. Working hours vary, including day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. It is advantageous to have training as a treatment assistant with experience of the target group. It is particularly advantageous to have knowledge and experience of the 12-step program.

Daily work includes holding conversations and conducting social interactions with our clients. The main tasks on evenings and weekends are sample collection, documentation, cleaning, and some cooking, as well as holding evening meetings and distributing medication based on delegation. The work tasks will be varied. It is advantageous if you are comfortable giving lectures and presentations in a group.

Additionally, driving and transportation are included. Supervision and social control are also an important part of the work.

Since the work during evenings and weekends often involves working alone, you need to be confident in yourself and in your professional role, have the ability to independently prioritize and take initiative, be flexible, and appreciate close client work. Experience in addiction care or other work with the target group is highly advantageous, and if you have experience through your own addiction, at least 3 years of documented sobriety/drug-free living is required. You also need to be able to provide an extract from the criminal record.

Working time will primarily be allocated to evening hours, weekends, and on-call duty.
