Description

Do you want to contribute to good matches with the child and heart in the right place? Then this could be the role for you!

Hemnovia works with foster family care and open care, and we are now strengthening our team with an engaged and driven placement coordinator. In this role, you will be the hub that creates structure and efficiency in the entire placement process. You ensure that we provide care for children and young people with high quality and good results.

The role involves active work in receiving, assessing, and handling placement requests, as well as converting these into well-functioning matches. You work closely with both foster families and clients and have an important function in finding solutions that work both in the short and long term.

You have a strong results focus and thrive in a role where you are expected to take your own initiatives, be persistent in your dialogues, and actively drive processes forward. You are confident in making contact, following up, and bringing matters to completion, and have a natural ability to build trust while maintaining pace and direction in the work.

Your contribution leads to better matches, higher quality, and frees up time for the foster family consultants. You will receive a thorough introduction and support in your professional development, working closely with foster family consultants and the operations manager. With us, you become part of a competent team where community, development, and quality are at the center.

Your main job duties will be:

  • Coordinate and streamline recruitment and placement processes.
  • Ensure that the matching between children/young people and foster families is as good as possible.
  • Drive placement processes forward and work actively to ensure good matches are carried out.
  • Maintain ongoing contact with foster families and follow up on work related to foster family recruitment.
  • Collaborate with clients and contribute to trusting and professional dialogues.
  • Marketing and evaluation to continuously improve our working methods.

To succeed in the role, you need:

  • Experience in social work and good knowledge of children's needs and conditions.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships.
  • Structured and goal-oriented working methodology.
  • Ability to drive work forward and translate needs into concrete solutions.
  • Confidence in making decisions and performing professional assessments.
  • Ability to work at a sometimes high pace while maintaining quality.
