Personal Assistant Wanted in Örebro!

We are now seeking a personal assistant for a woman in her 50s diagnosed with ALS, residing in Örebro. The position offers a meaningful opportunity to work closely with an individual and contribute to increased quality of life, safety, and independence in her daily life.

As a personal assistant, you will be responsible for providing support in daily tasks based on the user's individual needs. The work duties include, among other things, personal care, assistance with mobility, intimate hygiene, handling of aids (such as a cough assist machine), motor training, and support during various activities. The work takes place in her home and in other environments where she is present.

The working hours are scheduled during the day and evening, both on weekdays and every other weekend. The work is largely performed with double staffing. We view it positively if you have the ability to work flexibly and can step in at short notice when needed, for example during sick leave.

You will be part of a workgroup where collaboration and taking responsibility are central. Therefore, it is important that you have a good work ethic, are flexible, and contribute to a functioning team. Availability during the summer and holiday periods is desirable.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are confident in your professional role, have a professional approach, and the ability to work independently. You are flexible and can adapt to changing conditions. Furthermore, you have good documentation skills and a genuine interest in working with people in care.

As a person, you are calm, patient, responsible, and have a positive demeanor. You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as clear communication is an important part of the work. Experience in personal assistance or similar work in healthcare and care is meritorious.
