Do you want to work as a personal assistant in Gothenburg?

We are now seeking a dedicated and responsible personal assistant for a preschool-aged child with extensive medical needs. The role involves becoming an important part of the child's daily life and contributing to their safety, development, and quality of life.

The work is performed in the home environment and wherever the child is during the day. The role includes qualified care, handling of medical equipment (including tube feeding), personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and support during play and training. You will work closely with the family and be part of a team where collaboration and communication are crucial. The position involves awake supervision and double staffing.

Shifts are scheduled for day, evening, and night, all days of the week. We prefer that you are available to step in on short notice when needed and can work during the summer and other holiday periods.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is secure, attentive, and has a genuine commitment to working with children with special needs. You are flexible and have the ability to adapt to changing situations. Working independently and taking responsibility comes naturally to you, while you value good cooperation with colleagues.

You should have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, be meticulous with documentation, have a professional and respectful approach, be patient and attentive.

Experience in personal assistance or work in care and social services is advantageous, especially if you have previously worked with children and medical interventions.
