About the Position

We are now seeking a housekeeping assistant at 80%.

It is important to clarify that this position is fundamentally an operational role as a hotel cleaner. The majority of working hours consist of cleaning hotel rooms and common areas, just like a regular hotel cleaner.

In addition, this position has expanded responsibilities with additional duties, where you work closely with the head housekeeper and support her in daily tasks. In the head housekeeper's absence, you are expected to act as head housekeeper, including leading and distributing work. The position also involves working every other weekend.

In this position, you may as needed drive the hotel's shuttle bus, for example for transporting guests to and from the airport terminal.

Job Duties

• Cleaning hotel rooms and the hotel's common areas (main job duty)
• Act as head housekeeper during absence or longer leave
• Room inspections (weekends and during head housekeeper's absence)
• Training of new staff (weekends and during head housekeeper's absence)
• Purchasing cleaning equipment and materials (during head housekeeper's absence)
• Organize, distribute, and lead daily work (weekends and during head housekeeper's absence)
• Work every other weekend

Requirements:

• Driver's license (B)
• Very good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written)
• Good knowledge of English (spoken)
• Basic computer skills, must be able to send emails, input statistics in Excel, and place orders in digital platforms.
