Premises Caretaker

Buhres at Kivik is located by the harbor in Kivik on Österlen and consists of a fish and delicatessen shop, a smokehouse, and a restaurant with various dining sections. The Hatch with homemade fast food, The Bistro with drop-in and a broad fish and shellfish menu according to season, and The Veranda where we have a sharing/tapas concept, theme evenings, events, and larger orders.

Buhres has been part of the Lagnell Group since 2016, which operates the Laxbutikerna on the west coast.

Our goal is to develop and maintain a thriving workplace and destination, where both guests and staff feel comfortable and welcome.

We are looking for 2 premises caretakers for our operation ahead of the 2026 season.

We believe that you applying for the position are meticulous, have an eye for detail, and have had similar work before. You are responsible, structured, and place high value on order and tidiness.

The role involves keeping our facilities clean and fresh, both the spaces where our guests stay and in staff areas. In addition to regular cleaning of the premises, flowers and plants need watering, windows need polishing, and toilets need continuous maintenance. Work in the laundry room is also included with all that entails. These are just some of the tasks that occur.

We apply a rolling 2-week schedule where you work 4 days one week and 3 days the other.

Weekend duty every other weekend.

Duration of the position: 1-3 months

Scope of the position: 50%

Salary type: Hourly wage according to agreement.

Overtime and holiday pay are added on top of the hourly wage.
