Hourly Substitute Teachers for Lund Waldorf School's Substitute Pool

Lund Waldorf School, founded in 1978 and located in the beautiful natural setting of Hardeberga near Lund, is now seeking flexible and dedicated hourly substitute teachers for our substitute pool. We offer substitute positions in primary school, middle school, high school, and after-school programs. The school is a non-profit, ideologically driven foundation with approximately 170 students in grades F-9 and around 40 employees.

Lund Waldorf School bases its teaching on the principles of Waldorf pedagogy, where practical creativity, play, and a close connection to nature encourage student participation, responsibility, and development. Job Duties

As an hourly substitute teacher, you will step in as needed in various classes and subjects, from preschool up to grade 9, as well as in after-school programs. You will:

• Be responsible for conducting lessons and activities according to the teacher's planning.
• Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for the students.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school management to uphold the school's educational vision.

Qualifications

• You need to be available for at least one substitute shift per week. If this is not possible, we kindly ask you to refrain from applying for the position.
• No pedagogical education is required, but experience working with children and youth is advantageous.
• You have an interest in contributing to a safe and creative learning environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to build good relationships with both students and colleagues.
• Interest in Waldorf pedagogy is an advantage, but we also welcome those who are curious about our working methods.
