Mobile solutions – Our way into the future

We see mobile solutions as the future's way of teaching. By using specially adapted carts, we can offer dynamic teaching that follows the student's creative process instead of being locked to a specific room.

According to the current curriculum (Lgr22), crafts is an integrated subject. Our investment in mobile units makes it possible to blur the traditional boundaries between materials and instead focus on the whole of the crafts process – just as the curriculum prescribes.

Your mission: Create from scratch

As our new teacher, you will have a unique mandate. You are responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing both the carts/mobile units themselves and all the equipment needed for them. You build the system as you want it to meet the central content of the syllabus:

• The materials: You choose carts and tools for textiles, wood, and metal that enable flexible creation.

• The digital cart: You equip a unit for digital tools and modern technology.

• The recycling cart: You create a solution for circular materials and sustainability.

Home and consumer studies: Flexibility and everyday competence

In the subject of home and consumer studies, we focus on conscious choices and practical skills. We work resource-efficiently by locating theory and planning in our own premises, while we rent an external kitchen for practical sessions. This gives us access to the right environment when needed, while training students in planning and acting in different contexts.

• Are a qualified teacher in crafts and/or home and consumer studies.

• Have a clear vision for how modern equipment can support learning according to Lgr22.

• Are a solution-focused organizer who enjoys being responsible for purchases, budget, and planning.
