Nanny for a 16-month-old boy, Mon to Wed, possibly Thu 3-6 PM, Tyresö

A family in Tyresö is seeking a secure, warm, and engaged nanny who wants to become an important part of their son's daily life. The family lives in a villa in a calm and pleasant area with good transport connections – the bus stops right outside the house.

The father is Finnish but speaks Swedish fluently and speaks Finnish with the son. The home is thus bilingual, and the son is growing up with both Swedish and Finnish.

The son is 15 months old and described as an early, curious, and active little boy with a lot of energy. He is clear in his communication, understands most of what is said to him, and has a vocabulary of about 15–20 words. He understands both Swedish and Finnish.

He loves everything related to kitchen and cooking – he enjoys sitting in a baby carrier and being with dad while cooking. Kitchen utensils are exciting and fun to explore. He also likes reading books, building with Duplo, singing together, and actively participating in what's happening around him. He eats by himself and likes to be involved.

The family has two cats in the home.

The family wishes for the nanny to start working the second week of April, after the Easter holiday.

The nanny will work 3–4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and possibly Thursday) from 3:00 PM when the nanny picks up from preschool and takes care of the son until the parents come home around 6:00 PM.

It is about 2 km between the home and the preschool. One way, the nanny and son can walk directly home; otherwise, there is the option to take the bus that stops right outside the house. A driver's license is a plus but not required.

Sometimes there is ready-made dinner at home, but on some days, the family wishes for the nanny to prepare simple dinners for the son. No bedtime routine is included in the service.

A person with life experience and security is appreciated. The most important thing is that you are:

• Warm, stable, and empathetic
• Attentive to a small child's desires and curiosity
• Playful and engaged in language, singing, and creative play
• Comfortable with preparing simple children's meals
• Comfortable with cats

Salaries are determined individually depending on experience and education and are comparable to preschool teacher salaries in Stockholm. Minimum wage 150 SEK/hour. We can offer higher wages up to 210 SEK/hour for nannies with extensive experience and/or pedagogical education. Fixed monthly salaries occur in some positions.
