Farm Manager for the Animal and Activity Farm

The Animal and Activity Farm in Torvalla is a non-profit association that offers a safe, inclusive, and meaningful meeting place for children, youth, adults, and people with disabilities. We combine activity farm operations with teaching the basics of animal care and riding – and now we are looking for a new farm manager who wants to be the heart of our operation.

The association's activities rely heavily on the employed farm manager. This person manages the farm's operations on weekdays, receives children, youth, people with disabilities, leads pony groups, and supervises all individuals the farm accommodates in the form of internships, work training, etc.

As farm manager, you are responsible for the daily operations of the farm and are the person who holds the activities together. The role is both practical and social – you work closely with the animals, visitors, interns, and volunteers.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for the daily care of the farm and our animals.
• Lead pony groups and riding sessions for children and people with disabilities.
• Receive and supervise interns, summer workers, and individuals in work training.
• Collaborate with the board, volunteers, and partners.
• Plan and implement activities at the farm.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
