Iqraskolan is a school with about 185 students, it is a well-functioning and inclusive primary school (grades 1–6) in Västerås. Description of the work

With us, you will have a central role in the school's work with both student-focused interventions and a clear development mission. You work structured and take active initiative-taking responsibility in the work to develop teaching and learning environments. The work includes support for students individually and in small groups as well as supervision of teachers based on good pedagogical insight regarding adaptations, teaching strategies, and approach.

You are a central part of the student health team where your social skills and good collaboration ability contribute to preventive and promotional work. With a holistic view and leadership ability, you actively participate in the school's long-term development in close collaboration with school leadership and colleagues.

We are looking for you who are a licensed special teacher, preferably also a special education teacher with experience of work in primary school

We place great importance on personal qualities. You are secure and stable, have an easy time building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues, and have a good ability to both supervise and collaborate. You work structured, take own initiatives, and contribute with engagement and professionalism in the development of the operations.
