Teacher in after-school center with qualification in handicrafts

Myrstugubergets Friskola is a primary school located in the heart of Myrstuguberget's residential area—a so-called "school in the village" that celebrated its 30th anniversary last year.

The school currently has about 115 students distributed from pre-school year to grade 5, and many living in the area choose to attend here. The school has a good reputation and is characterized by the motto "It's important to me that things go well for you." The staff is engaged, classes are smaller than average, and staff turnover is low. There is one class per grade level. The school is divided into two departments. At Vargen, grades 1, 2, and 3 are located, and at Myran, pre-school class, grade 4, and grade 5 are located.

The school is currently led by a principal, operations manager for the after-school center, and a team leader responsible for pre-school year to grade 5.

Over the past two years, the school has prioritized work on digitalization and student health, among other things. This school year, we are working with language development approaches both at the school and after-school center. We want to continue developing the after-school center to achieve "A common thread" throughout the students' entire school day.

The school is characterized by high staff density and qualified teachers. The school also has an EHT team consisting of the principal, school nurse, school psychologist, counselor, and special education teacher.

The position is permanent employment, we apply a 6-month probationary period and are affiliated with the Collective Agreement with Almega Education.

Start date: August 10, 2026 or as agreed
