About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated and qualified teacher in social studies and history on a part-time basis, 57%, with a start date in August 2026.
In the role of teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up teaching with high ambitions for quality, structure, and goal achievement. You are part of an active program team and are expected to participate in the school's systematic quality work.
The position also includes mentorship for a group of students, where you are an important adult in the students' school journey and a contact person for guardians.
We are looking for you who:
- Are a licensed teacher with qualifications in social studies and history for upper secondary school.
- Have clear classroom leadership and the ability to create safety, study peace, and engagement.
- Teach formatively, in a differentiated and inclusive manner, with clear structure and high expectations.
- See student participation as a natural part of the learning process and build relationships with students with engagement and clarity.
- Are solution-focused, flexible, and humble in working together with colleagues.
- Have good digital competence, especially in learning platforms and AI-based tools for teaching, or want to actively develop these skills.
- Thrive in a development-oriented environment where everyone contributes to the school's common goals.
